We have a math test on friday, March 16, period 6. The test will be on the math we have covered to now. It will include equivalent fraction, changing fraction to decimals and decimals to fractions, reducing fractions, ordering fractions and decimals from either least to greatest or greatest to least, figuring out if one is >, < or =.

Science test on skin and nervous system on Monday March 19.

Science homework today is to finish page 11.

Bring a picture for your writing project.

Today we began working on finding common denominators to add and subtract fractions that do not have like denominators.

We practiced how to find the common denominator, then how to find the equivalent fractions and then we could add or subtract.

There are 4 questions for homework for tomorrow:

1/4 + 1/6 =

4/5 - 1/2 =

3/4 - 1/5 =

2/3 + 3/8 =

Have your parents make up other questions to help you practice.

We have a field trip on Wednesday the 29th. we will leave the school at 12:30 p.m. after lunch and return for 3:40 p.m.
